Easter is the one of most important religious celebrate in the Christian people. They believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his funeral, and celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day. Saturday I cleaned and decorated the house, baked Easter biscuits and special sweet bread. Although traditionally lamb is the main dish, my family prefers to eat chicken. After that I and my kids colored the eggs. Then at midnight on the Saturday the bells rang out joyfully and we walked around church three times. Sunday morning we exchange the colored eggs and play the game where we attempt to crack each other’s eggs. The person whose egg broke last is a winner and this symbolizes assured good luck for the rest of the year.Monday, April 5, 2010
